Show & Shine 2007

The Misconducts are playing this Sunday for the 2007 Show and Shine benefit for the B.C. Professional Fire Fighters Burn Fund. This event runs between 11am and 4pm at 7228 Winston st in Burnaby. The Misconducts will be playing over the course of the afternoon prior to the wet t-shirt contest at the end. Come check out the rock, the bikes, the food, and the chicks!

This is the first performance for us in more than a year, and it will be good to get out and play some rock once again. We will be playing over the course of the afternoon, and our set will include mostly covers, but we plan on sneaking in a few of our on tunes. And we will have the "Daisy Cutter" album available for sale.

Come on down, and hang with us one more time as Burnaby will never be the same!

The Misconducts - on hiatus....kinda
Well, The Misconducts have been forced to take a short break. After a very busy spring including the launch of their first website, the release of their first full length album "Daisy Cutter", and their first television performance, they find themselves in a sort of awkward position. Guitarist Johnny Walker and drummer John Simmonds both checked themselves into rehab to put an end to their nightly drunken escapades, bassist Jimmy Walker is currently serving a sentence for mouthing off a cop, singer Craig Anselmo couldn't be reached for comment due to being in protective custody as a witness to Jimmy Walker's trial, and lead guitarist Glenn Sagman is stranded on a remote deserted island waiting to be rescued. In any case, this should all be resolved by the end of the summer, and the rock will resume with a split dvd with fellow Worn Records recording artists The Assassination. Have a good summer everyone!

Cancer Benifit - The Misconducts
Come see The Misconducts battle cancer this Saturday along side fellow Worn Records recording artists The Assassination. This benefit performance is a semi-private function, meaning that the organizers are trying to limit the "hooligan" presence. However, The Misconducts would like to extend the invitation to a limited number of our fans and friends. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door. A Revolution Of Rock
This past saturday, The Misconducts destroyed the stage at the Carpenter's Hall in New Westminster B.C. The seven song set had everyone in awe, as they blasted through it like it was their last time ever. Two From The Tailor, Red Eye Express, Reta's Gone, I Don't Mind, Gone Travelin', Johnny's Two Car Garage, and Whatcom County Lines rounded up the set. Absent from the show was lead guitarist Glen Sagman, but The Misconducts still charged through their performance with the energy of a five piece, and were unaffected by their missing mate.

The performance from this past Saturday will air on Shaw Cable 4 on Friday June 2nd at 12:30 am. You can also view it at the Stone Head Films myspace page in a few weeks. And make sure to check out the updated Images page to see the photos from the show.

The Misconducts - Hit The Studio
On Saturday February 11, The Misconducts spent the day in studio recording a new single. "It's an old tune that we never really finished" commented guitarist Johnny Walker about the song. Without much time to prepare or rehearse, The Misconducts blasted through the tune half a dozen times before nailing the magic take. Look for the download on this site in the next few weeks!

The Misconducts

The Misconducts hail from Vancouver B.C., but frequently refer to Boise Idaho as there place of residence. Loud, garage rock, with a blues edge, these guys arent for the easy listening crowd!
